Works for Classic 6" TMNT after quick and easy modificationAug 09, 2012

scale wise, this vehicle is a little too large for the 4" basic figure and a little too small for the 6" Classic figs. for basics only Donny and maybe Leo can ride without looking too silly being the tallest of the basic turtles; and instead of the image of a badass, Ralf and Mikey just look like little kids pretending to drive daddy's motorcycle. The body of the bike looks more in scale with the 6" Classics, but the handle bars are too short and angled too narrowly for the 6" fig arms.
After i disassembled the bike i noticed the front wheel assembly and the handlebars can actually be extended by 1/4 inch with very simple modification. the instrument panel can be opened with just a screw driver and once opened you can move the handlebars up a notch by 1/4 inch and widen the spread angle while you're at it. the front wheel assembly can move forward by 1/4 inch after some small plastics are cut (see pic). the whole process is very quick and easy and took me about 10 minutes.
After the modification the 6" figure can ride the bike and as additional benefit, the basic fig riding the bike sits in a more upright and forward position allowing a second turtle to hitch a ride. also for the basics, with legs closer to the ground it looked more like they fit the bike and less like little kids on a bike.
3 stars after all because the modification needed, and because even after mod, it's still the same no-frill bike with stupid finger flick missiles, and still looks tad big for basics and tad small for Classics (looks more like WWII era low power bike than badass heavy hopper Ralf and Wolverine like to ride)

TMNT 2012 Rippin ' RiderJul 25, 2012
By Turtlefan90 This TMNT vehicle is alright for the price. It is just a cool looking bike that most turtle figures can ride on. It is not very flashy but that is part of its charm. The missiles are manual flick missiles, meaning you have to flick the missiles yourself because their is no spring loaded launcher. For me the price on Amazon is a little overprice. A person is better off paying for the vehicle in a store were it is at least a couple dollars cheaper. However it depends on your preference. If you have money to spare and are looking for something for the turtles to ride or if you're feeling a bit of nostalgia then this vehicle is okay. I recommend this bike only if you would like to have a cheap vehicle. I feel the shell raiser would be a better buy simply because it is bigger and all the turtles can fit somewhere on or inside the shell raiser for about the same price as three Rippin' riders the best turtle figure for this bike would be Michelangelo or Donatello, since their arms can go closer to their sides, than Raphael and Leonardo's arms.

Didn't Look NewMar 01, 2013
By MPTA I bought this as part of a birthday gift for my godson and the box was pieced together by tape as it had clearly been opened before. There were pieces loose in the box, the toy looked like it had been used and just thrown back in the box. I had bought a couple of other TMNT toys through Amazon (different seller) at the same time and it did not come in the same condition as this.
