Some of the best toys ever!Aug 18, 2012
By Mr. I These are some of the best toys ever. The "Classics Turtles" are the right mixture of the vintage toys and their animation models. You can position the turtles in all kinds of great poses and are very durable. The only thing to beware of is- once you buy one you're going to have to buy the other 3.

Production Change to his Belt?Aug 14, 2012
By Marc L. Thomas In every pic and video review I can find online, Raphael's belt comes with two small holsters on the front of his belt to hold his sais. However, the one I just received from Amazon did not. No holsters on the front of his belt or the back. Wonder why the change?
UPDATE: I contacted Playmates Toys customer service at toys@playmatestoys.com and give them my address in the email and they will send a new belt in a couple of weeks. So if your Raph shows up like mine, they will replace. Great customer service.

Brings back memoriesMar 25, 2013
By J. Reid Linker Jr. I got one (Michelangelo) of these as a gag birthday gift. Little did that person know how obsessed I was with them when I was younger, and I promptly purchased the remaining 3 from Amazon. Brings back so many memories. Very posable, and they look great on my display in my nerdcave/office.

Brings back the old classic toys but even better...Mar 17, 2013
By xentar The figure was indeed a good reincarnation of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys from the 80s. The size of the figure is great compared to the usual TMNT toys, plus it comes with tons of articulations. You can re-create almost any posing you're heart desires. :)

Good figure with some flaws.Oct 27, 2012
By Mike I have always been a fan of TMNT. I was very eager and excited upon hearing about this line coming out. I had ordered Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. When they arrived, one of Raph's sais was missing the red paint on the grip, and his shoulder joints were frozen. I ended up having to take a hobby knife and removing the excess plastic in the joint. I had the same issue with Michelangelo as well. Both Raph's and Mikey's swivels above the elbows are very loose as well. I have tried using clear nail polish and tried to work it into the joints with no avail.
Despite the issues with the shoulder/bicep joints, I absolutely love these figures! They are a great update to classics characters!
