Olivia and Ballet - a Winning Combination!Nov 06, 2010
This is a very cute video with four different short stories. I bought it for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter, named Olivia, who requests to see it nearly every time she visits. None of the stories are too long, so a young child can enjoy just one at a time or more, depending on her attention span that day.

I purchased this dvd for my grandson to watch when he comes over on the weekends. He loves Olivia! We will usually watch a video just before nap time. I view his DVD's with him. We will discuss the content of each story and it is nice that there are simple but valuable life lessons. Need more Olivia!

Five Stars on Olivia takes Ballet and Olivia's Christmas. Only three for the Original.Nov 29, 2010
By D. B.
We first met Olivia through the Christmas DVD. We're super picky about what our kids watch and we loved the Christmas one so much that we went out and bought the Ballet one and the orignal one as well. I love the ballet dvd, but I cringed enough through the first few episodes of the Original dvd that we never finished it and I will be finding a new home for it. Like I said, we're super picky. The original dvd is not as crisp in the story lines as the other two, not as original and clever. It relies a little too much on using contention, competition with friends, and sibling rivalry as humor. Since my kids are preschoolers and like to imitate behaviors instead of learn from them, I'd rather not have them watch the original. Having said that though, the others are wonderful and clever and I love them for the same reasons that I dislike the original. There is minimal contention, competition, and sibling rivalry in the others. The siblings are very sweet and positive to each other and we've all enjoyed the clever imagination and subtle humor of Olivia!

Olivia brings out the Eleanor Roosevelt in all of us!Jun 27, 2010
All of Olivia's books touch the little girl in us - strong willed, fashion conscious, and cute as a button. I haven't found a little girl yet, no matter what her age, who doesn't love Olivia.
