5Best Game EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Sep 20, 2011
Nicktoons MLB is a very fun game. It has SpongeBob SquarePants, Stimpy, Patrick Star, Ren, Sandy Cheeks, Aang Avatar, and Larry Lobster.
I wish it has Squidward, Appa (fun add), Mr.Krabs, Dib, Keef, Sokka, The Penguins of Madagascar(Skipper, Rico, Kowalski, Private,), King Jullin, Mort, and the list keeps going...

1MLB let them use the franchise???  Apr 18, 2012 By Joy B. Beale "Paul's pal"
Hands down the absolute worst baseball game i ever played on any system....period. Real Sports Baseball on Atari ATLEAST felt like there was some SPEED on the ball. This game idea had tons of potential but I'd fire everyone involved. The pitching was my BIGGEST gripe as there's not only no skill involved.....no big power ups.....no "flaming" sinkers, ice balls, water canons....none of the cool absurd things I expected from Nicktoons. Think I will send it to the guy who does Will It Blend?

1So slow and boring  Sep 23, 2011 By Micheal Hunt
When it comes to baseball games on the DS, none have really been any good so far, and probably never will, and this game here is no exception. Unlike the other reviewer who seemed to be just happy playing as Nickelodeon characters, I'll actually tell you what the game play is like.

You go into a game with little to hardly any options at all. The tutorials you will want to eventually turn off, as they tell you what to do, but keep on telling you what to do throughout the game, which becomes annoying. The stylus is not needed to play the game, and you either use the 4 main buttons to determine the type of hit you want to bat, from bunt, tap to slug and whack. However when you hit the ball, the screen turns dark for a second before it loads the new screen showing the where the ball is going to go on the field. Most of the time it goes directly towards a fielder, and they either catch you out, or drop the ball. You can sneak and all that stuff as well... then pitching is done the same way, depending on what button you hit for straight fliers, curve balls and whatever.

I found this game to be too slow, very boring and no fun at all. There seems to be no way to hit a home-run... as the ball just bounces off a wall, and the supposedly holding the direction pad as to where you want to slug the ball is meant to hit it in that direction, but this only seems to work some of the time... I dunno, maybe with more practice there is a trick to the timing of it, but after being annoyed to death by going out after two tries, and these magical 3 outs after two batters, I got fed up with the bizarre and stupid rules of this version.

I really don't get it, the Super Nintendo had better baseball games then this that required timing, yet they where fun and easy to get used to... whereas this game, typical sloppy DS construction with no thought put into, no reason to take the stylus out, and lack of speed and too much commentary in between innings, makes this game un-recommendable to anyone.
