Dora's Christmas Carol (Dora the Explorer)
It's Christmas Eve, and Swiper is on Santa's naughty list for trying to swipe the Christmas tree star! Dora wants to help, so she takes Swiper on a time-travel adventure to Christmas in the past and to Christmas in the future. Maybe Swiper will finally discover the true spirit of Christmas!

Kindle Fire version disappointing! Great story!Mar 02, 2012
This review is for the Kindle Fire version.
My daughter loved the episode and wanted the book. We hoped that the Kindle Fire version would read it to you, but it doesn't. To add insult to injury, the words are too small and zooming each page after you turn each page is very annoying. If you are a fan of Dora, then get the book or dvd because its a fun story. But avoid the Kindle Fire version at all costs until they improve it. The low selection of children's books that read to you puts the Kindle Fire at a competitive disadvantage against the Nook Tablet. This is one of my biggest beefs about the Kindle Fire and I hope they improve all the children's books being offered.

Not for the very youngJan 28, 2013

My granddaughter and I have read and enjoyed many Dora books. However, this book was difficult to read and explain to her. At 3 years old Christmas is still new to her so she had trouble understanding the concept of " Christmas Past" , "Christmas Present" and "Christmas Future". Also having all the characters from all the different Christmases together on one page confused her. I am sure she will understand the concept and the lesson it teaches with time. However at 3 , I felt she was too young for this Dora book.
Not impressed.Apr 06, 2013

This was not an easy read on my iPad. Also, I read what another reviewer said about it conveying the true meaning of Christmas and was hoping to find at least a glimpse of the Christian message. Not there, although it was about being 'nice.' I deleted this book and didn't even read it to my grandchildren, it may be Dora but it was also boring. Wasted money on this one.
Daughter loves the storySep 08, 2012
My daughter loves this episode on tv so she was very excited about getting this book. There is a lot of text to read so it does take a few minutes to get through. My daughter is almost 3 and loves when I read it to her but she will also read it by herself based on what she remebers and the pictures (she can not actually read the words yet).
